Please note these Terms and Conditions apply to all orders of celebration cakes and cupcakes. For wedding cake terms and conditions please see our Wedding Contract.

DEPOSIT
A £20 deposit is due to confirm booking for all orders over £30, excluding wedding cake orders for which the deposit is £50. Full payment in advance is due on orders £30 or under. Deposits are non transferable and non refundable. Deposits can be paid by bank transfer or Paypal. We do not accept cash or cheque for deposits.

CHANGES TO ORDER
Please note any changes to orders are at the discretion of Lily Pink Bakery and can be requested up until 7 days prior to your collection date. Changes may not be possible on custom orders for which personalised toppers have been made in advance or bought in.  

CANCELLATION
Deposit will be retained in case of cancellation. Cancellations must be in writing. 

COLLECTIONS
If you are collecting your cake we will arrange a time that suits you via email. Please note although we bake from home we are not usually available all day and therefore ask that these times are strictly adhered to. Failure to arrive at your pre-arranged time may result in a delay to collection of your order. You will still be liable for full payment of balance. 

DISCLAIMER
In the case of an emergency or an error in your delivery, please contact us so we can fix the issue immediately.  If you are unhappy with your cake for any reason, please contact us immediately.  In the rare case that there is an error with your order and would like a refund, you must call on the day of your event and arrange for your complete order to be returned. Please note that once the order has left our possesion we are not responsible for any damage that occurs thereafter.

ALLERGIES & SPECIAL DIETARY REQUIREMENTS

Please note that our cakes contain eggs, soya, dairy and gluten. Our cakes may contain traces of nuts. Please contact us with any questions regarding allergies or ingredients. 

 

Wedding Booking Terms and Conditions

Deposit: A £100 deposit is required to secure your wedding date. The deposit is applied towards the contracted wedding cake and is deducted from the final invoice. If the deposit isn't received within 7 days the booking will be deemed cancelled and the date will be released back to the general public.

Reservation: Upon receipt of your deposit, Lily Pink Bakery will reserve your wedding date. The deposit is non-refundable and non-transferable.

Balance of Payment: The Balance of Payment is due 2 weeks prior to your wedding date. It is the Wedding Clients responsibility to provide the final payment within the agreed time.

Absolutely no wedding cakes will be delivered without prior payment in full according to these terms.

Delivery: Lily Pink Bakery are not responsible for incorrect delivery times or locations given to us by the wedding client.

Set-up Time: Lily Pink Bakery require at least one hour setting up all ordered items. This

ensures that there is an appropriate amount of time to arrange the cake before guests arrive.

Set up location - Should you require your cake to be delivered, Lily Pink Bakery will deliver and set up your cake as agreed and will want to ensure it is displayed at its best. It is your responsibility to ensure that you have provided Lily Pink Bakery with all the set up details and arrangements made with the venue for the location and display of the cake. Lily Pink Bakery cannot be held responsible for the location of the cake at the venue. Please ensure therefore that the display location is level, stable, strong enough to hold the cake and not under any heating vents. If these details are not provided we will take recommendation from the venue. If the cake is to be delivered and set up by Lily Pink Bakery a photograph will be taken prior todeparture to verify the cake has been set up and left in good condition.

Method of Payment: Payment may be made by cash, bank transfer or through PayPal (Paypal payments incur a fee payable by client).

Dressing of cake: We are very happy to dress your wedding cake with fresh flowers provided by your florist if you request this, however we can only complete this if your florist or flowers are available at the pre arranged time. Lily Pink Bakery are not responsible to any damage or upset caused by flowers arranged on your cake by anyone but ourselves.

Right of withdrawal: Discovery of new information, changes to agreed circumstances or other factors which tends to circumvent its policies may result in its withdrawal. Non co-operation,changes in locations, facilities or available times, missed appointments, non confirmation of quote acceptance and late payments are examples of contributing factors. Should Lily Pink Bakery initiate the withdrawal, all fees will be returned, excluding the Booking Fee, as well as fair market value for all services / products already provided.

Cancellation: Lily Pink Bakery offers a bespoke service and is therefore limited in how many bookings are taken for any given week. If The Wedding Client cancels the order within 3 months of the wedding date it is unlikely that the cancelled space will be filled and therefore the following cancellation charges will apply. Cancellations MUST be in writing:

1 month or less - 100% of Full Cake Cost

1 month to 3 months - 50% of Full Cake Cost

3 months or more - Loss of deposit

Limit of Liability: In the very unlikely event of severe medical, natural, or other emergencies, it may be necessary to retain an alternative baker. Lily Pink Bakery will make every effort to secure a replacement baker able and / or willing to provide similar products and services as chosen inthis contract at the same / similar tariff. If such a situation should occur and a suitablereplacement is not found, responsibility and liability is limited to the return of all payments received for the event.

We take extreme care with all of our deliveries and have never had a single problem however in the very unlikely event of destruction of cake during transportation and set up liability is limited to the return of all payments received for the event.

Non-Guarantee: Although every possible care will be taken with the delivery and set up of the wedding cake, once delivered the cake becomes the responsibility of The Wedding Client. LilyPink Bakery cannot be held responsible for any destruction of said cake or products once they are in the care of The Wedding Client or venue.

Allergies: Lily Pink Bakery shall not be held responsible for nut allergies for The Wedding Client or their parties. All cakes COULD contain traces of nut. It is the responsibility of The Wedding Client to inform their guests that traces of nut COULD be present in the cake.

Alterations to your order - Flavour and design changes can be made up until 1 month prior toyour wedding day and will be accommodated if they are possible, at the discretion of Lily Pink Bakery. Lily Pink Bakery reserves the right to increase the quoted fee in the event that the customer requests a variation to the work agreed and also to maintain the original quotation if the order is reduced. Whilst every effort will be made to accommodate changes, please note that changes cannot always be guaranteed.
